Sponge Slabstock Foaming Machine-Drop Plate Flat-Top Foaming Machine

The drop plate flat-top foaming machine is designed based on the Maxfoam process, which utilizes downward foaming principles in traditional conveyor belt foaming machines. During production, materials are thoroughly mixed in the mixing head before being poured into a paper mold on an inclined flat plate. As the foaming process begins, the material enters the drop plate area. By adjusting the angle of the drop plate, the foam expands from top to bottom, achieving a flat-top foam block. Figure 1 illustrates the production line of the drop plate foaming machine.

The drop plate flat-top foaming machine adopts the pouring method of the conveyor belt foaming machine’s mixing head. Before entering the drop plate area, the material gradually foams on the inclined fixed plate, allowing larger air bubbles in the material to escape from the surface easily. This significantly improves the foam’s internal structure by reducing trapped air bubbles.
